Robinhood is a popular trading platform due to many advantages it offers, from its affordability to crypto trading to mention a few. And while this platform provides some analysis tools, users might want to use a dedicated trading journal to track and analyze their date. However, Robinhood doesn’t give you the option to download a CSV file of your trades. So in this short guide, I’m going to show you a simple way to get a Robinhood CSV so you can import it into your online trading journal and start analyzing your data.
Extracting trade data from Robinhood can be tricky
A while back, any Robinhood user could contact the support team and request a CSV file of their trades. However, this is no longer possible for whatever reason. So if you want a Robinhood CSV file, you need to get it on your own.

If you’d rather not dabble with coding, well, there’s always the option to copy your trades manually from Robinhood. As you can imagine, this might take quite a bit of time and effort, especially if you have a lot of trades.

Use this simple Chrome extension to get your Robinhood CSV
So there is a third-party Chrome extension called “Robinhood Transaction History” and it does exactly what the name suggests: it will download your Robinhood transaction history to a CSV file. Convenient, right?

How to use Robinhood Transaction History
First, go to the Chrome web store page of Robinhood Transaction History and add it to Chrome.
The extension’s icon will be added to the top right of your Chrome Window. When you click on it, you will see the instructions for using it:
As shown in the screenshot above, the process couldn’t be more simple:
- Go to robinhood.com/account/history (open this link on a new tab instead of reaching out from the Robinhood homepage)
- Scroll down to see your transactions
- Click on the extension’s button at the top right of your window
- Click on the green button ‘Download CSV’
